I offer a free fifteen-minute phone call or video chat to help determine if I would be a suitable fit for your child and family. During this conversation, we can discuss your specific goals and priorities for speech therapy. This allows us to evaluate if there is a good match between your needs and the services I can provide. It's an opportunity for us to connect and ensure that we can work together effectively to support your child's development.

Speech and Language Evaluation
I will conduct a formal assessment to identify the priority areas to address in speech therapy, and the extent of testing will be tailored to the specific concerns we've identified together. The assessment will be conducted at your child's pace, and I have alternative approaches in case your child finds formal face-to-face assessments challenging. Once the assessment is finished, I'll provide you with an assessment report and treatment plan. We will go over this together and explore potential options for proceeding with speech therapy if that's the route you choose to take.

Speech and Language Therapy

Speech therapy sessions are customized to enhance your child's communication abilities, tailoring goals and interventions to meet their unique needs and your family's preferences. Speech therapy can encompass various aspects of communication, including speech clarity, language comprehension, and effective expression. We offer the flexibility of meeting either in your home or in our office space to ensure the most convenient and effective support for your child's development.

30-minute session: $65
45-minute session: $95

Articulation: Targeting correct pronunciation of sounds and improving speech clarity.

Expressive Language: Enhancing the ability to express thoughts, ideas, and feelings coherently.

Receptive Language: Strengthening comprehension and understanding of spoken language.

Pragmatic/Social Language: Learning about one's communication style, how to advocate effectively and embrace your unique way of connecting with others.

Stuttering:  Helping individuals who stutter through cognitive, emotional and technical strategies.

Executive Functioning Skills: Supporting the development of cognitive processes like planning, organization, time management, and self-regulation.


Special Education Coaching and Advocacy
IEP Process Guidance: Assisting you in understanding the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and your rights.

IEP Paperwork Support: Collaboratively working through IEP paperwork to build comprehension and formulate questions or comments for meetings.

Advocacy: Representing your family's interests while fostering a collaborative relationship with your school team.

Hourly rate of $130 is prorated based on amount of time spent on consultation and reviewing paperwork.
